Glacier Explorers operate boat cruises on the terminal lake of the Tasman Glacier, Lake Tasman.
Touch, taste and feel ice formed 500 years ago in the peaks of the Southern Alps near Aoraki/Mount Cook.

Experienced guides will manoeuvre their boats close to the dripping ice face of the glacier as it completes its journey down the Tasman Valley. Listen as they explain the forces of nature required to produce the spectacular natural ice sculptures surrounding the lake.
