This camera is hilltop mounted above Twizel, the closest major town to Mt Cook.
The webcam images
provide panoramic views of Mt Cook and Lake Pukaki.

Weather conditions that may affect the camera are cloud and excessive wind.
Excessive wind will shake the tower the camera is mounted on.
The resulting shaking may result in a blurred image.
We are working on securing the tower to improve the picture quality in windy conditions
